AI Foundation Training — UPSC

A two-day AI Foundation Training was conducted for the newly recruited Deputy Architects of the UPSC Central Architectural Service, Central Public Works Department, Government of India. The sessions explored the intersection of policy and practice, tracing the evolution of machines and simulators alongside the critical pillars of AI Auditing and AI Procurement for modern infrastructure.

Participants engaged with foundational AI concepts including machine learning fundamentals, computer vision applications in construction, and data-driven approaches to urban planning. The training emphasised how AI can enhance architectural design, project management, and infrastructure lifecycle assessment within government projects.

A key highlight was the development of digital twin simulators. By prototyping solutions for existing bottlenecks, bespoke AI simulations were curated using open-source data to enhance design and planning precision for India's built environment.
