Panelist at AAAI 2026
Singapore

Panelist at the 3rd International AI Governance Workshop (AIGOV 2026) at AAAI 2026 in Singapore, presenting the session "From Policy to Procurement: Architecting Algorithmic Auditing Standards." This work moves beyond theory to reveal the operational reality of Sovereign AI, covering strategies for public procurement of AI systems, architected algorithmic auditing for Sovereign AI, and workflows to ensure state-level AI accountability.
The session examined the critical gap between AI policy formulation and practical implementation. Standardised, architected workflows embedded in the procurement process itself are essential to ensure accountability before deployment. The presentation highlighted that trained over 1,000 officials on AI readiness as part of ongoing capacity building efforts.
As the industry moves from generative AI to agentic AI systems making consequential decisions, embedding responsibility mechanisms directly into autonomous AI systems is not just academic but an urgent operational requirement. The workshop provided a global platform to showcase frameworks for operationalising AI governance in the public sector.
