AI Session for MCD Engineers

It was a distinct privilege to lead the session on Artificial Intelligence for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) at the MCD Civic Center, New Delhi. The MCD's Planning Department, in collaboration with the National CPWD Academy, organised a comprehensive two-day refresher training programme for their engineering leadership, inaugurated by MCD Commissioner Shri Sanjeev Khirwar (IAS).

The AI integration session was conducted for a distinguished group of over 100 senior officials, including Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers, and Executive Engineers from all zones. The session focused on moving beyond theoretical concepts to explore the practical applications of AI and tech-driven solutions specifically tailored for civil engineering and urban governance.

The training also emphasised the imperatives of AI governance, safety, and responsible deployment within municipal operations. Equipping MCD's engineering leadership with AI competencies ensures that the city's infrastructure projects benefit from data-driven decision-making while maintaining accountability and human oversight.
