Delivered a session at a three-day Training Programme on SMART Public Service Delivery in Urban Planning and Governance at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA). The session titled "Responsible AI and Digital Governance" examined the intersection of emerging technologies and urban governance frameworks.

The programme brought together urban administrators to explore how technology, including AI, can enhance efficiency, transparency, and citizen-centricity in governance. The session covered AI applications in urban planning including predictive analytics for infrastructure development, AI-powered citizen grievance redressal systems, and data-driven resource allocation approaches for municipal governance.

The programme reflects the growing focus on building capacity among urban administrators to leverage technology for improved governance outcomes. Equipping public officials with knowledge of SMART technologies and AI tools is essential to realising the vision of data-driven, citizen-responsive urban governance in India's rapidly growing cities.
