Yashoda AI — Chandigarh University
Chandigarh

Delivered a Yashoda AI session at Chandigarh University, diving deep into the fundamentals of AI literacy and safety for a new generation of technology professionals. The session was designed to equip students with the foundational knowledge needed to develop and deploy AI systems responsibly in their future careers.
The session covered the lifecycle of responsible AI development, from problem definition and data collection to model deployment and monitoring. Students explored common AI risks including bias, privacy violations, and safety failures, and examined frameworks for mitigating these risks throughout the development process. Practical demonstrations illustrated how governance considerations can be integrated into technical workflows.
Engaging with university students on responsible AI is a key part of building a culture of governance from the ground up. By introducing AI ethics and safety concepts early in technology education, the programme aims to create a generation of AI practitioners who treat governance not as an afterthought but as a fundamental design requirement.
