AI Literacy at MGSIPA

Delivered a session on AI Literacy and Governance at MGSIPA, Chandigarh, providing government officials with comprehensive training on AI fundamentals, responsible AI integration, and their implications for public administration. The session was part of MGSIPA's ongoing capacity building programmes for civil servants.

The training covered AI fundamentals, governance frameworks, and practical applications across government functions. Officials learned to identify opportunities for AI integration in their workflows, assess AI-related risks, and understand the governance mechanisms necessary to ensure responsible deployment. Case studies from other state governments illustrated successful AI adoption models.

Building AI literacy among civil servants is a critical enabler of digital transformation in government. Officials who understand AI's capabilities, limitations, and governance requirements are better equipped to make informed decisions about AI adoption, procurement, and oversight within their departments.
